Russell is Microsoft New Zealand’s National Technology Officer and focuses on helping customers understand and realise the broad transformational opportunities enabled by Microsoft’s cloud platform. Russell is currently a board member of the NZ Health IT Industry Association and has been an Executive Councilor of the Artificial Intelligence Forum of New Zealand since its foundation.

He is the Founding CEO of Food Agility CRC and is also a co-founder and Director of the Internet of Things Alliance Australia and of the Knowledge Economy Institute
